We went to Boston right after Andrew had his first birthday in 1986. He was fascinated by the Mystic Seaport, and just had to climb the rigging. His whole life has been an adventure. Obstacles were meant for climbing over, sliding under, biking around, or confronting head-on. He had to learn all of life’s lessons the hard way. The first day that he rode a bike, he clothes lined himself by riding under a chain. He’s broken his hand and worn out more bike parts than anyone I’ve ever known, but he never quit. Every time he fell down, he got right back up, and kept going.
